WC CONSULTING · THE UMBRELLA

You built the team. We built the umbrella.

Water filtration and solar are what we sell every day. What we do for other door-to-door groups is everything around the door: the systems that make an org work and the operations that keep them working. Recruiting, onboarding, the app, the pay math, the follow-up, the install desk, the phone that gets answered.

01 //WHAT WE DO EVERY DAY

Two products on our own doors. Everything we teach comes from them.

Solar.

Authorized Axia by Qcells dealer, six lenders, a vetted install network in 36 markets. Sold with the method in the book, by reps we trained, on doors we still knock.

Water filtration.

WC Water tests at the tap and installs with its own crew in Central Florida and around Watertown, NY. Exclusive water provider for Seamless Home. The easiest door in the book, and the one we start new reps on.

02 //WHO WE TAKE ON

If it is sold at a door, it can run under the umbrella.

Bring the product and the people. We bring the recruiting, the training, the app, the pay math, and the phone that gets answered. One rule: it has to be something you would sell to your own mother.

03 //THE SYSTEMS THAT MAKE A D2D ORG WORK

Doors are the easy part. The org around them is where teams die.

Most groups can knock. What they cannot do is recruit without lying, onboard without losing a week, pay without an argument, follow up without a human remembering, or keep an install moving after the sale. That is the work we did for our own companies first, and it is the work we run for yours.

01

Recruiting that fills itself.

A recruiting page with a fit list, an application that takes two minutes, and a person who calls in two business days. Built for WC, cloned for you.

02

Onboarding in the app, not a group chat.

A new rep opens the WC App on day one with the playbook, the coach and the pay math inside. Training runs at their pace and the manager can see who finished it.

03

Pay math nobody argues about.

Every deal computes its own commission from its own inputs, visible to the rep before it is sold and every payday after. The board settles who produced.

04

Lead capture wired to the CRM and the calendar.

Every form on every page lands in one CRM, a booking assistant follows up within minutes at any hour, and the job is created in the field tool when the lead moves stage. No retyping.

05

An install desk that keeps moving.

Status sweeps that do the daily project work inside platforms with no API, so the deal that was sold in June is not still waiting on a signature in August.

06

A phone that gets answered after hours.

An AI trained on your facts only, answering customers and reps from your site and handing off to a human. Ask Bishop, bottom right. That is it, running.

07

Manager tools that end the argument.

Live board, territory map, pipeline, activity, and the one number the owner actually needs each morning. Who produced, who got paid, who needs a ride-along.

08

Websites and funnels that book work.

Not brochures. Pages that capture the lead, message-match the ad, and send the visitor to a real next step. Ours, the water company's, the book's, clients'.

//

Then we keep it running.

One check-in a month. What booked, what did not, what drifted. Systems rot without an operator, so the ops are part of the deal, not a handoff.

04 //GROWTH AND TRAINING

What a group gets under WC.

01

Training built from the book.

The Protector Method, taught the way we teach our own reps: serve the homeowner, tell the truth, ask for the yes. The book is the curriculum.

02

Recruiting that does not lie.

A recruiting page, a fit list, a person who calls. No income screenshots, no rank ladders, no six-figure promises for showing up.

03

The WC App, in your name.

Ring, board, map, coach, pipeline and pay math for every rep on day one. Every screen is real, two of them run live.

04

A back office that answers.

Design, financing, install coordination and service for solar and water, handled. For other products, the follow-up and the phone.

05

Manager tools that settle arguments.

Who produced, who got paid, who needs a ride-along. The board and the pipeline say it so the group chat does not have to.

//

Not on the list: hype.

We will not build you a rank ladder or a Lamborghini reel. If that is the culture you want, we are not your umbrella.

05 //PROOF

Built on our own companies first.

  • Honest Water by WC

Our water company's site, rebuilt in July 2026: new homepage, a quote funnel that lands every lead in one CRM, a booking assistant that follows up on form leads, conversion tracking wired end to end, and jobs created in the field-service tool automatically when a lead moves stage.

  • PCS Homes

A Fort Drum real estate resource site, overhauled in August 2026: dead request forms fixed, fictional testimonials replaced with the agent's real Zillow reviews, page weight cut from 14 MB to under 3 MB, and a spouse-first content hub the competition does not have.

  • A solar installer's project desk

Their project-management platform has no API. We built a scheduled sweep that does the daily status work anyway, on a Mac in the office, without a single manual click.

  • This site

Bishop, the AI in the corner of every page, answers customer questions from a controlled set of facts and hands off to a phone number. Ask it something. That is the product.

  • The book

Solar Doesn't Sell Itself launched with its own landing page, paperback distribution through Lulu, PDF direct, and the same follow-up systems we build for clients.

06 //HOW WE DID IT

We started before AI. That is why we know where it belongs.

In 2020 the system was a spreadsheet, a phone, and the habit of calling people back. Every item on the ops list above ran by hand first, on our own doors, before any of it was automated. So we know which parts a machine can carry and which parts still need a person who gives a damn. Bishop is the piece that answers the phone at 8 pm. Ask it something.
